We draw your attention to the fact that whilst a deceased estate is being processed
the shares may not be traded.

We will require:

1. A certified copy of the Certificate of Representation granted by the Probate Court.

2. A Power of Attorney appointing one of the heirs of the estate to act on behalf of the other heirs.

In the case that there is only one heir, this person should complete a Transfer Form (available under “Share Transfers”). The seller is the deceased and the buyer is the heir and the heir signs the Transfer Form as both seller and buyer.

In the case that there is more than one heir, a solicitor should fill-in the deceased as the seller and solicitor on behalf of the estate of deceased as buyer. The solicitor should sign as both seller and buyer. The shares are then distributed amongst the various heirs by the solicitor.
