Replacing a lost share certificate is a long and costly procedure. Therefore, we recommend that share certificates are deposited with your financial institution.

The two forms to be completed are available at the bottom of this page. They are both in English as they have to be forwarded to Malaysia. One of the forms needs to be witnessed by a Notary Public. The date on the forms must not be more than 14 days old upon arrival in Malaysia. Provided the forms are completed precisely as stated, an announcement is placed in a Malaysian financial daily newspaper.
